Privacy Policy for Ocean Battle

Effective date: September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use the mobile game Ocean Battle, together with related websites, support channels, software, and services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Service”).

We wrote this policy in plain language so that you can understand the choices available to you. Please read it together with any notices shown inside the Service, on an app store listing, or at the time information is collected. If a specific notice conflicts with this policy, the specific notice applies to the relevant collection.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to people who download, install, access, or play Ocean Battle; contact us for support; participate in an in-game event, promotion, survey, or community activity; or otherwise interact with the Service.

In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of Ocean Battle. The identity and support channel of the publisher may also be shown in the app store listing or within the Service. “You” means the person using the Service, including a parent or legal guardian acting for a child where permitted by law.

Ocean Battle may be distributed through third-party platforms such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Those platforms process certain information under their own privacy policies. This policy describes our processing and does not replace the privacy policy of your device manufacturer, app store, payment provider, advertising provider, social network, or other third party.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information that is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service. The exact information collected depends on the features you use, your device and operating system, your choices, and the permissions you grant.

2.1 Information you provide directly

You may provide information when you create a player profile, choose a nickname, save progress, contact support, submit feedback, enter a competition, respond to a survey, report abuse, request deletion, or communicate with us in another way.

This information may include a player name or nickname, account identifier, avatar or profile information, age range or date of birth where required for an age check, language, country or region, support messages, attachments, and any other information you voluntarily include in your communication. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through an in-game support form unless we specifically request it through a secure channel.

2.2 Game and account information

When you play Ocean Battle, we may collect information about your game account and activity, including an internal player identifier, nickname, level, achievements, progress, inventory, virtual items, missions, match history, scores, rankings, friends or team relationships, settings, consent choices, purchases, refunds, and information needed to restore your progress across devices.

We may also receive information from a platform account or sign-in provider when you choose to connect it. Depending on the provider and your settings, this may include a provider-specific identifier, display name, profile image, email address, or authentication status. We do not receive your platform password.

2.3 Device, network, and technical information

We and our service providers may automatically collect technical information needed to deliver and protect the Service. Examples include device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, mobile carrier, app version, installation source, network type, internet protocol address, approximate location derived from an IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, application instance identifiers, crash logs, performance data, battery or memory conditions, and basic diagnostic information.

We may collect information about how the app is launched and used, such as session times, screens or features viewed, buttons selected, loading times, error events, match duration, game results, advertisements shown or interacted with, and whether a feature worked successfully. We use these events in aggregate or in association with an internal identifier to understand and improve the Service.

2.4 Information from app stores and payment providers

If you make an in-app purchase, the applicable app store or payment processor handles payment card and billing details. We generally receive transaction information such as a product identifier, transaction identifier, price, currency, purchase time, country or storefront, subscription status where applicable, and refund or entitlement status. We do not ordinarily receive your full payment card number.

We may use purchase verification services to confirm that a transaction is genuine, prevent fraud, grant digital items, restore entitlements, and process refunds or customer-support requests.

2.5 Information from advertising and analytics partners

If Ocean Battle displays advertising or uses third-party analytics, those partners may collect information through software development kits, pixels, or similar technologies. Depending on your region and choices, this may include advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, app events, ad impressions, ad interactions, conversion information, and fraud-prevention signals.

Some partners may use this information to provide contextual advertising, measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, detect invalid traffic, or provide personalized advertising where permitted and where you have provided the required choice or consent. We do not knowingly ask advertising partners to use precise location, contacts, microphone recordings, camera content, or the contents of your private communications for advertising.

2.6 Information from other people

If another player invites you, reports an account, sends you a message, adds you to a team, or participates in the same match, we may receive information connected with that interaction. If another person submits your information to us, we use it for the reason it was submitted, for safety and moderation, and for other purposes described in this policy.

2.7 Information we do not intentionally collect

Ocean Battle is not designed to collect the contents of your contacts, text messages, email, photos, files, microphone recordings, or camera images unless a feature clearly explains the collection and you actively enable it. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, health information, or financial account credentials through ordinary gameplay.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the purposes below. The purposes that apply to you depend on the features you use and the requirements of the law where you live.

3.1 Provide and operate the Service

3.2 Maintain safety, integrity, and fairness

We use information to prevent cheating, automation, abuse, harassment, fraud, unauthorized access, payment abuse, manipulation of rankings, exploitation of bugs, and other activity that could harm players or the Service. This may include checking game events, purchase status, device and network signals, reports, moderation records, and security logs.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe that the account or activity violates our rules, threatens the security of the Service, or creates legal or safety risk. Where appropriate, we may provide an appeal or review process through support.

3.3 Improve and develop the Service

We analyze performance, crashes, player feedback, feature use, and aggregated game activity to fix defects, balance gameplay, design new features, test changes, improve accessibility, understand demand, and make the Service more reliable. We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

3.4 Advertising, attribution, and measurement

Where the Service contains advertising, we use information to select and deliver contextual or personalized advertising according to applicable law and your choices, measure ad performance, attribute an installation or event to a campaign, prevent duplicate counting, limit frequency, and detect invalid activity. You may be able to change advertising choices through the privacy controls in the Service, your device settings, or a consent interface shown to you.

3.5 Communications

We may send service communications such as security notices, purchase confirmations, support replies, maintenance notices, policy updates, and information necessary to deliver a feature. Where the law requires consent, we will obtain it before sending promotional communications. You can stop optional promotional messages by following the available unsubscribe or preference instructions.

3.6 Legal and business purposes

We may use information to comply with law, court orders, regulatory requests, tax and accounting duties, law-enforcement requests, and valid legal process; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; enforce terms and policies; protect rights, safety, property, and users; investigate suspected wrongdoing; and complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

If you do not provide information that is necessary for a requested feature, the feature may not work. For example, if you do not allow a required sign-in or purchase verification, we may be unable to restore an account or deliver a purchase.

5. Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies

Web pages connected with Ocean Battle may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. The app may use software development kits or locally stored identifiers that perform comparable functions. These technologies help us remember preferences, keep sessions secure, understand use, deliver features, measure performance, and support advertising.

Some technologies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without affecting the Service. Other technologies are optional and may be controlled through a consent banner, privacy settings, app settings, operating-system controls, or partner controls. Blocking or resetting an identifier may not stop all advertising; it may instead make advertising less personalized.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted as a universal opt-out where the applicable technical standard does not provide a consistent method. Where required by law, we recognize legally required opt-out preference signals and apply them to the relevant browser or device as required.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below, as necessary to operate the Service, or with your direction.

6.1 Service providers

We may share information with vendors that process it on our behalf, such as hosting, cloud storage, authentication, customer support, crash reporting, analytics, fraud prevention, payment verification, communication, moderation, security, and technical operations providers. These vendors may use information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law and their contract with us.

6.2 Advertising and measurement partners

We may allow advertising and measurement partners to receive device, app, event, and advertising information to provide ads, measure campaigns, attribute installs, prevent fraud, and limit frequency. Depending on your region, this may be considered sharing, targeted advertising, or a similar regulated activity. You can use the controls described in the Service or your device to make available choices.

6.3 Platform, payment, and identity providers

We share information with app stores, platform providers, payment processors, and sign-in providers when needed to verify purchases, authenticate accounts, provide platform features, process refunds, prevent fraud, or comply with their requirements.

6.4 Other players and public areas

Some game features are designed to show information to other players, such as a nickname, avatar, level, score, ranking, team membership, match result, or public achievement. Information shown in a leaderboard, profile, chat, team, replay, or other social area may be visible to people who use that feature. Please choose a nickname that does not reveal your real name, address, contact information, or other private details.

6.5 Legal, safety, and business disclosures

We may disclose information to courts, regulators, government agencies, law enforcement, professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or other parties when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or property, investigate abuse or fraud, enforce an agreement, or complete a business transaction. If a transaction occurs, information may be transferred to the successor subject to applicable law and this policy or a replacement policy that gives appropriate notice.

6.6 Aggregated and de-identified information

We may share reports, trends, benchmarks, and statistics that have been aggregated or de-identified so that they cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except where permitted for security, compliance, or quality-control purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

Ocean Battle and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have data protection rules that differ from your local rules. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, approved contractual protections, consent, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

You may contact us through the support channel available in the Service or its app store listing to request information about the transfer mechanism that applies to your data, subject to legal limits and the protection of confidential information.

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide the Service, maintain account and purchase records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, comply with law, and preserve evidence. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the context.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period while they rotate through ordinary backup processes. Information connected with a legal hold, fraud investigation, financial record, or security incident may be retained longer where required or permitted by law.

If you delete your account or request deletion, some information may remain in aggregated form, in records that we must retain, in backups awaiting routine deletion, or where retention is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Account deletion may also be irreversible and may remove progress, virtual items, purchases that cannot be restored, rankings, and other account content.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, and unauthorized access. Measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, monitoring, logging, secure development practices, provider review, backups, and incident-response procedures.

No internet service, device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, keeping account credentials private, using current software, and notifying us promptly if you believe an account or purchase has been compromised. We will handle confirmed incidents according to applicable notification requirements.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information. These rights are subject to exceptions, verification requirements, and other limits imposed by law.

10.1 Access and portability

You may request confirmation of whether we process personal information and request a copy of information associated with you. Where required and technically feasible, you may request information in a portable format.

10.2 Correction

You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. You can often update your nickname, settings, or profile directly in the Service.

10.3 Deletion

You may request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions such as fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, transaction records, dispute resolution, and information that is necessary to provide a feature you ask us to keep.

10.4 Restriction and objection

You may request that we restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests, direct marketing, or certain profiling activities. If you object to optional marketing, we will stop it as required by law. If you object to processing needed for security or core operation, the Service may not be available in full.

10.5 Consent withdrawal

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent through the available in-app control, device setting, browser setting, or support channel. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

10.6 Advertising choices

You may reset or limit an advertising identifier through your device settings. You may also use the consent or privacy controls presented in Ocean Battle. Platform controls may differ by operating system and may change over time. We will apply your choices to the extent required and technically possible.

10.7 How to make a request

Submit a privacy request through the support channel available inside Ocean Battle or on the official app store listing. Tell us that your request concerns privacy, identify the player account or device involved, describe the request, and provide enough information for us to verify that you control the account. We may ask for additional information to prevent unauthorized access. We do not use verification information for unrelated purposes.

We normally respond within the time required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason unless the law prevents us from doing so. You may have the right to appeal a refusal or complain to a data protection authority in your country or region.

11. United States State Privacy Disclosures

Some U.S. states provide additional rights, including the right to know or access, delete, correct, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, and appeal a decision about a privacy request. The exact rights and definitions depend on the state where you live.

For purposes of these laws, the categories of information we may collect or disclose can include identifiers; commercial or transaction information; internet or network activity; device or approximate location information; inferences used to understand preferences; and other information you choose to provide in support or social features. We use these categories for the purposes described in this policy.

We may disclose these categories to service providers, advertising and measurement partners, app stores, payment providers, authentication providers, other players when you use a public feature, professional advisers, government authorities, and business-transaction participants as described above. We do not sell personal information for money. Where a state law treats certain advertising-related sharing as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, you may opt out using the privacy control made available in the Service or by contacting us through the official support channel.

We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may, however, provide a feature only when the information is necessary to provide it, or offer a lawful incentive that is reasonably related to the value of the information and is described at the time of enrollment.

12. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection law to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object for reasons related to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where a decision is made solely by automated means and produces legal or similarly significant effects, you may have additional rights; Ocean Battle is not intended to make decisions of that type about players.

13. Children’s Privacy

Ocean Battle is not directed to children under the minimum age required by the laws applicable where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child provided information without appropriate permission, contact us through the support channel available in the Service or official app store listing.

We may use age screens, platform age signals, restricted features, contextual advertising, consent flows, and other safeguards where required. These safeguards are not a guarantee that every person using the Service has reached a particular age. Children should use Ocean Battle only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to websites, social features, advertisements, SDK-powered services, or content operated by third parties. A link or integration does not mean that we endorse the third party or control its privacy practices. Before providing information, review the third party’s privacy notice, terms, and account controls.

Third-party services may collect information directly from your device under their own instructions. Examples can include app stores, sign-in providers, analytics providers, advertising networks, payment processors, customer-support platforms, and social networks. Their processing is governed by their own policies, not solely by this policy.

15. User Content and Public Features

If Ocean Battle allows you to submit a nickname, avatar, message, team description, report, image, or other content, do not include personal information that you do not want other players or our service providers to see. Content submitted to a public or shared feature may be copied, displayed, cached, reported, or retained by other users.

We may review, filter, remove, limit, or preserve user content to enforce rules, investigate reports, protect users, improve moderation, or comply with law. Moderation systems may use automated tools, human review, or both. We do not use private support messages for advertising.

16. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Virtual Items

Ocean Battle may offer optional virtual items, subscriptions, or other digital products. Purchase terms, prices, billing cycles, cancellation rules, and refund procedures are shown by the applicable app store or payment provider at the time of purchase.

We process purchase records to validate transactions, grant and restore entitlements, prevent fraud, respond to billing questions, handle refunds, and comply with financial and tax obligations. Virtual items are licensed digital features, not cash, deposits, securities, or property that can be redeemed for money unless the applicable terms expressly say otherwise. Deleting an account, losing access because of a rule violation, or stopping use of the Service may affect access to virtual items subject to applicable law and the purchase terms.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the Service, law, providers, or our processing practices change. We will post the revised policy in the Service or through another appropriate channel and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use information, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.

Your continued use of Ocean Battle after the effective date of an updated policy means that you acknowledge the update. If you do not agree with a material change, stop using the Service and contact us about your available choices.

18. Contact Us

For privacy questions, access, correction, deletion, objection, consent withdrawal, account-security reports, or complaints, contact us through the privacy or support channel made available inside Ocean Battle or on its official app store listing. Please include “Privacy Request” in the subject or first line of your message and tell us which country or region you are contacting us from.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not ask you to disclose your password or full payment card number. If the Service or app store listing provides a dedicated privacy contact, that contact is the preferred channel for formal privacy requests.

19. Summary of Important Points
